Suvi began her career in the field of IP in 2014 as part of the chemistry team, where she handled a wide range administrative duties relating to patents until 2020. Since then she has migrated to her current position as part of the trademark and legal services teams. In her position as Intellectual Property Paralegal Suvi assists her colleagues in a wide range of duties relating to the prosecution of trademarks and designs. Her responsibilities include handling matters relating to IP rights transfers, trademark and design renewals, IP watches and investigating infringements, legal research, preparing and updating cost estimates regarding our clients’ IP portfolios as well as assisting in matters relating to IP-related contracts such as licence agreements.
Suvi holds a Master’s Degree (MSc. Econ & BA) from the Intellectual Property Law degree programme at Hanken School of Economics and became a certified Finnish Trademark Attorney after passing the attorney exam in the fall of 2023.
In addition to her main duties Suvi has also been an active member of the firm’s Events Committee and is responsible for duties relating to marketing, communications and social media.
