Jouni works as European Patent Attorney on Laine IP’s chemistry team. He is primarily responsible for the patenting of biotechnical and chemical inventions. In addition to bioprocesses, Jouni has expertise in, for example, enzymes, gene technology and rare sugars, as well as their technical applications.
Jouni has worked at Laine IP since 2012. Before joining the company, he worked with HSE tasks in the chemical industry and was a researcher at the Bioprocess Engineering Research Group at Aalto University.
Jouni holds a MSc (Eng) degree in bio- and food technology.
