The most inpiring about my work is to respond to the needs of our clients, and sometimes even exceed their expectations. Inspiring and rewarding are also my friendly colleagues, and to change all kinds of thoughts with these experts.
Eija started working as a patent assistant on Laine IP’s ICT & Mechanics team in January 2021. She is an experienced patent assistant and has been working in the field since 1996. Her responsibilities include diverse assistant duties, including handling formalities related to patent and utility model applications in Finland and abroad, customer correspondence and billing. Eija also has previous experience in making transfers of rights, as well as translations of patent claims (EN/FR-FI). In addition, she has served as a part-time trademark assistant for a few years.
Eija holds an MSc from the University of Turku (French Translation and Interpreting).
Eija is also one of the founding members of the Finnish IPR Assistant Association.
In December 2022 Eija passed the European patent administration certification -examination (EPAC) organized for the first time.
